OUR HISTORY

Midwest Express Corporation began as a truckload carrier in 1982. In 2007,  Ted Glickley and Jeff Johnson purchased the Kansas City-based trucking and brokerage operation.

Starting with 18 trucks in 2007, the company expanded to new offices and facilities in Lenexa, KS. Today, they operate 100 trucks and 300 trailers serving the Midwest and Southeast United States—from Nebraska to Pennsylvania to Georgia to Texas.

In 2018, the company began developing a tool focused on truck driver recruiting as a way to begin more conversations with drivers who are searching for a better solution to their needs. They call it DRIVERFINDER.
